R&B/smooth jazz Guitar Player Wanted

We are looking for a mature experienced guitar player for a group of guys that want to play out and are dedicated. You must be interested in putting in the time to help establish a working fun R&B/Jazz/blues soulful group. We are located in Torrington. We practice once a week usually on Sunday morning. We are sax,bass, drums with over 40 years of experience. We are looking for a good guitar player who also sings lead and backup vocals. Someone who can front the band and is good with the crowd. Must be interested in playing and capable of playing a jazz/blues style. We prefer someone who has experience playing who can also help direct and help with arrangements. Not interested in beginners or heavy Rockers. but someone who plays jazz with a smooth Wes Montgomery style. Must be easy going with patience to see a project through as it could take a few months to be ready. We expect to play out 2 or 3 times a month when ready no gigs booked to date. You must be willing to travel to Torrington. Not interested in people with loads of drama or personal conflicts, Why? Because we need you to be focused and at rehearsal prepared and ready to go. We are old school and we are in our 60's so we are looking for someone who gets it. Someone who is like minded with their musical taste and approach to completing a project. You Must have received both Covid shots. We do not have any music on the tube so you will be provided a song list. If you can read music that would be a plus. We would love to have you come and rehearse with us.
