The music will be original songs that will be catchy, cool, distinct, very tight, not hackneyed, not amateur, not corporate or predictable or overly derivative and out of date. We start working the stuff out in about two weeks, will likely start gigging in September and will be aiming for full time write, record, tour, repeat. There's going to be work to do to get to launch so make sure you can commit time and energy; if you want to be out playing shows immediately this is not the right ad. We'd all like to be playing out asap but this is not like launching a bar band that does covers or a band that does mediocre originals by lousy musicians. The basics of who we're looking for: pro chops, reliable, can play to anything without throwing a fit about it, great work ethic and attitude, able to say goodbye to your crappy day job if and when the good things happen; no drugs, heavy drinkers or daily drinkers. We don't want a revolving door. It took a lot of work to find very capable musicians with natural ability and the willingness to put time and energy into getting the music sounding great even if it means having a bad day here and there.
