Description

This breathing workshop is a deeply restorative experience outdoors in the lush surroundings of a garden oasis. Each event is complete on its own. Choose a date that works for you, or several dates if you like, click the red "SELECT A DATE" button to sign up. Bring a friend! These breathing workshops will be held monthly on Sunday mornings, 9:30am-11:30am, June 6, July 4, August 1, 2021, at Dunn Gardens in Seattle. Is your default mode of breathing holding you back from feeling your best physical and mental health? Experience a group practice of therapeutic breathwork with Michelle and friends. In this workshop, you will gain tools to feed your body what it needs most. In this two-hour outdoor workshop, we will nourish our biology through simple and deep ways of breathing. We'll gain breath awareness and a growing understanding of how our breathing can support us each to feel more secure, present, rested, alert, and energized physically and mentally. The movement of breath fuels all the systems in our bodies (immune, circulatory, digestive, nervous systems). Participants will gain clarity around their default mode of breathing, and an understanding of what makes a healthy breath, with tips to try at home. In Seattle's lush Dunn Gardens, after an opening circle, participants will be guided in a safe therapeutic breathing practice surrounded by a vibrant plant world, in an exchange of respiration. Bring an open mind. All questions and respectful sharing are welcome. The practice will be guided by Michelle Quigley Pearson, massage therapist and certified breathwork facilitator. Michelle works with people 1:1 every week and is excited to offer a group workshop with customized tips to meet each person where they're at. All are welcome. Breathwork is appropriate for any person who wants to do it. If you would like to learn more, Contact Michelle at [email protected].
