Looking for GenX/PopRock Keys and Lead Voice

We are currently looking for keyboardist and frontperson with an interest in to jumping into a Gen X Alt/PopRock project. I guess that could be best described as taking those great motown, disco, funk, rock, techno sounds from the last 50 years and updating them (ala Weezer), yet staying mostly true to the original version...sort of. The goal is to get familiar music pumping to and for all age groups and to get the dance floor hopping, almost as a DJ would by the seemless flowing of music, but with a live band. There's definite interest with some local pro musicians, providing we find those critical elements...a keyboardist with some sampling knowledge and a great voice to electrify the crowds. This will be a side project as we aren't looking to be out every weekend or play every po-dunk dive as the current involved members are currently in established Louisville bands. We will actually be gearing towards special events more so than typical bars. If this interests you, reach out!
