Description

Meditation for Busy, Stressed Out, Real Life People - UCLA's Mindful Awareness Practices I Class is here for YOU! The MAPs I course is an excellent introduction to mindfulness for beginners. MAPs I provides insight into the basics of mindfulness, how to develop a mindfulness meditation practice, and how mindfulness can be applied in daily life. It is also appropriate for experienced practitioners who wish to revitalize their practice. This 6-week course is offered in person AND on-line. For New Mexicans wishing to attend in person, we will meet in the beautiful COFE building downtown on Guadalupe Street in Santa Fe (the same building as the downtown Ikonik coffee shop). On-line folks will gather on ZOOM. Each class is a combination of lecture, practice, and group feedback and discussion. MAPs I is taught in a context of a supportive community environment with classes no larger than 30-40 students. Classes are 6-weeks long and meet once per week for 2 hours. Tuesdays with Erin! We will meet Tuesday mornings, 8-10am MST weekly for 6 weeks starting on August 10, 2021 and ending on September 14, 2021. PST Class Time: 7-9am, EST Class Time: 10am-12pm Offering Mindfulness & Resiliency Coaching, Classes, & Workshops
