Celebrate the 50 year Anniversary of Walt Disney World Monorail System in style !!! This is the moment you all have been waiting for !!!! The Monorail reunion committee believes we have selected an AMAZING way for us to Celebrate the 50 year Anniversary of Walt Disney World Monorail System in style !!! We wanted to bring an extra special venue option to Celebrate the time we have shared becoming ONE RAIL ONE FAMILY. The lifelong friendships and fun shenanigans that were formed over the time we have spent together is a rare find so we decided that it should be Celebrated in style !!! Our evening will begin as you cross the gangway and board The Barbara-Lee a paddlewheel boat that has been reserved just for our Sunset cruise of the St Johns River, Aboard you will find plenty of places to mingle and have some delicious appetizers on any any of the five outdoor decks or one of the many climate controlled dining areas. This cruise has been rated 5 stars by TripAdviser. There is a well stocked Cash bar featuring specialty cocktails $8-$9 range Beer $3-$4 range Wine and even Champagne at $7-$9 a glass or $30 a bottle. You will be indulged by Chef prepared cuisine Prime Rib USDA choice cut Prime rib prepared to your choosing with seasoned mashed potatoes and veggies Tropical Chicken Slow Roasted Chicken Breast topped with Parmesan and savory mango pineapple chutney served with rice and veggies Chicken Marsala The classic dish with Parmesan, Marsala sauce and mushrooms. Served with Seasoned mashed potatoes and vegetables. Chicken Parmesan Breaded chicken smothered in Marinara sauce and Parmesan cheese. Served with Angel hair pasta and vegetables. Salmon Fillet Thick cut salmon baked in Lemon Butter or Teriyaki glaze served with rice and vegetables. Entrée Caesar Salad Generous serving of Crisp romaine lettuce with signature Caesar dressing, homemade croutons, Parmesan cheese and topped with your choice of Chicken Breast or Salmon fillet. Roasted Vegetable Lasagna Layers of slow roasted vegetables, pasta, marinara sauce and three cheeses. Then settle in for some Live music and dancing or hang out under the stars and reminisce with great old friends or meet some new ones. The cruise will depart at 7 pm and dock again between 10:00 pm & 10:30 pm This is a full table service experience. Cost for this experience is a moderate $67.00 per person and it does include gratuity. Downtown Sanford is just a quick 5 minute walk or 2 min ride and there are many awesome boutique bars if you find you want to hang out longer after the boat has docked. Lake Mary which is 10 min away is host to many hotels. We will need 125 guests to make this event happen and we can host up to 152 guests.
