Is this a bad holiday for anyone else? Fireworks are messing with me

Hello. Something shitty happened to me on the fourth of July over 15 years ago and the fireworks STILL get to me. This is a bad holiday for me and I thought maybe someone else might be struggling and wants company, too. It's rough because I know this is a happy holiday for most and everyone I know is out and about having fun while I am hunkered down at home just trying to make it through all the noise. If anyone can relate please reach out and give me the just of your situation. Maybe we can hang out, blast some music or a movie and at least not be alone. Thanks. I am in the Bridgeport area.
