HIRING FOR: CARPENTRY, FENCE WORK & HOMESTEAD HELP Jobs on beautiful, private, rural So Humboldt property. - CARPENTER needed for 1-2+ months of projects: Building sheds and various projects. Building design and details will be decided through collaboration with property owner. Experience required. Pole building experience a plus! Work 4-6 days a week. ($25-$30 per hour based on experience / performance). - FENCING WORKER. Repairs needed on long runs of homestead ‘horse fencing’, with split redwood posts. Replacing posts, fixing fence, wire setting, etc. Weeks of solo work. Must solve problems. Etc. Specific experience or carpentry / mechanical ‘knowhow’ needed. Work 4-6 days a week. ($20 per hour). - HOMESTEAD HAND needed to help with various tasks, including weeding, pruning, moving brush, lawn care, weed whacking, water-system repairs (PVC & poly-pipe. Not required), etc. Flexible 2-3 days a week. ($18-20 per hour). MUST have job references, reliable transportation, good communication skills, and clear a background check. Payments will be weekly, in CASH. On site camping with access to a shower may be an option. Job is in the hills, 35 minutes from Garberville, near Miranda. 25 minute drive off 101 - 7 miles of paved county road, then 3 miles of gravel country road to property.
