Help me record?

Hi, I’m in the Spring Hill area and looking for someone who knows how to record live into a computer. I have Garage Band and I have PreSonus…also willing to look at a different program you recommend. I have some original songs I’d like to record. I play out often and have good equipment. Just need a hand up in learning a simple home recording program and figuring how to sync it with my guitar and mic for optimal sound. Would need a sit down session in my home, not online advice.
