PHOENIX, AZ — Phoenix Police are investigating an early-morning shooting Saturday that left one woman dead. Around 5:30 a.m., police were called to an alley between Grover Street and Chambers Street, and between 35th and 38th Avenues. According to police, the caller said they saw a woman sitting in a vehicle who appeared to be shot. When police arrived, they found the adult female with gunshot injuries. First responders were called and later pronounced the woman dead at the scene. Anyone with information about the shooting is asked to call the Phoenix Police Department or Silent Witness at 480-WITNESS.
