Sweet Gentle Lab/Husky for Veteran or Someone who Needs a Friend. Charlie is a gentle large white Labsky. He is not young being 12 years old and may have had a hard life. We have all the papers. He currently weighs about 95 pounds, but he is losing weight and needs to lose more. He as an encapsulated bullet in one hip, and arthritis in his hind legs. He needs a home with a kind person who needs a good friend. Charlie is very smart, house trained, has all his shots and had just been to a vet. According to the vet he has a strong heart and all the tests were good. He is just old and a little slow because of his age. He doesn't bark and he is house trained. He is a very good boy. He gets along with other dogs, cats and kids. He is totally non aggressive and friendly. He is an inside dog and doesn't do well in the heat for extended periods. My friend took him in from foster as her heart went out to him, but her house is just too small for two dogs. He does take carprofen for the arthritic pain and does well on it. Because of his back legs, he can't do stairs so he has to have a ground floor house. He has no trouble with walks and a small step, but he can't do a flight of stairs. No Fee attached to take Charlie, and you can also have his bed, food and a supply of carprofen. Charlie is a lover and we would love to find him a happy home, we do not want to take him to a shelter.
