We are: -Guitarist (32) and Bassist (30) -10+ songs in the works. Band Chemistry is prioritized. -Me (guitarist) writes and sings songs. My guitar is heavily chorused and affected. Bassist plays driving/thumpy basslines. Slow and fast tempos. Music sounds trippy and melancholy--> but still POP-centered -Our inspirations and musical background--> math rock / emo / dream pop / shoegaze / alt-rock / jangle pop / surf (both genre and hobby) / indie ---> There are honestly elements of all of these in the music we play (we don't create rules) We are looking for someone who is: -A GOOD PERSON -Committed to the band, weekly rehearsals, NYC shows -Tolerant of others that party infrequently -Able to easily adapt to musical situations when jamming (skill, creativity, on-time, sometimes we play odd-meter) -Staying in NYC area for 1+ years Other projects I have been involved in: jrosounds.bandcamp.com (will send demos further in process of meeting you) Please send links/sound samples in your reply.
