I'm a bass player looking to put together a group of musicians for a Bill Withers set. Vox, rhythm and lead guitar, drums, keys, horns. Ideally for paid gigs. You should be able to hang and enjoy stretching out on a simple ostinato groove, appreciate an arranged song, creating space for some back and forth conversation. I'd love to do other funk, soul, world groove covers and originals too. I want to play fun danceable songs. Hits as well as some really groovin' deep cuts.
