German Rottweiler

Description

Ranger is a NEUTERED purebred German Rottweiler with a docked tail and dew claws removed and has been microchipped. He weighs about 95lbs and will turn 2 years old in September. As much as we hate to do this, we need to find a a better home for him that can give him what he needs. We are moving into a rv full time and he gets nervous around our loud and rambunctious 3 year old child, occasionally growling and snapping at him. It's not the dogs fault, the kid just doesn't realize when Ranger is nervous or uncomfortable. It's something that we can easily manage in the house with crates and the kid giving him space, but the RV will be much more difficult and we don't want to put the dog or kid in a position where something worse could happen. He does great with our small dog, but definitely would do better in a home with a larger dog he can wrestle with. The small dog tries to keep him away because he's so big. He is afraid of our cat but I don't think he would be okay around chickens. He knows sit, down, roll over, shake, and stay (sometimes). He walks well on a leash, loves car rides, and has never shown food aggression with us or our other dog. He is a typical Rottweiler, is protective of our property and will let you know if somethings wrong, doesn't realize how big he is, loves belly rubs, and really loves treats. He is UTD on rabies vaccination and heartworm prevention. There is a rehoming fee to insure someone is serious about caring for him. He will come with his XXL crate if you want it. PM for more details. Located near OKC.
