Summer wellness pop-ups featuring yoga, sound healing, and rotating mindfulness activities for people of color, benefiting House of Ruth. With temperatures rising, take a moment to cool off with intimate wellness experiences to soothe body and mind, hosted by the calm/cool collective. Gentle yoga + sound bath Indulge in a relaxing yoga experience guided by ccc founder Shakeelah Sutton, exploring movement and stillness with a gentle vinyasa flow followed by meditative Yin yoga postures. We'll conclude with a nourishing sound bath provided by sound healer, Jessica Gray. All experience levels are welcomed. July mindfulness activity: DIY Aromatherapy Eye Pillow Workshop Shakeelah will guide you in making your very own eye pillow, providing opportunity to experiment with various essential oils to create your personalized self-care tool. All materials will be provided. (August and September mindfulness activities TBD.) This pop-up is a part of our #SelfCareisCollectiveCare summer wellness campaign. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the House of Ruth to support their mission of empowering women, children and families to rebuild their lives and heal from trauma, abuse and homelessness.
