A Guided Sound Meditation Celebrating Inspiration. Incorporating Yoga Nidra & Sound Concert within the garden grounds of the Ivy Bookshop. Join us in the Ivy Bookshop Gardens on August 29 for an outdoor 75-minute Sound Bath Meditation just before sunset. This 75min Sound Meditation will include a short guided meditation ( Yoga Nidra ) followed by a Restful Sound Concert. During the Sound Concert, gentle vibrations from singing bowls will ‘bathe’ participants and harmonize space, creating a subtle sense of safety. This deeply relaxing practice both cultivates Stillness and release tension and stress from the body and mind. Come to enjoy the sounds and feel the support of the earth. While many people prefer to enjoy the sounds while reclined on their backs, others may prefer to enjoy the sounds from a seat or a chair. Please bring a chair if you would like one. It is important to be as comfortable as possible, so if you plan to lay in the grass you may want to bring a blanket for under your yoga mat (or just a blanket) and perhaps a light sheet or scarf to cover any exposed skin.
