Taijiquan (Tai Chi) for health, happiness and overall wellness.
Improved health...relaxation...clear mind...increased flexibility and physical balance...longevity.... These are some of the benefits you can gain with regular practice. You will also increase co-ordination as you challenge yourself learning a new way to move.
We will warm-up with light stretching then learn some basic qigong, "energy cultivation" which also has many health benefits. The rest of the time will be devoted to the Taijiquan form practice. A form is a series of moves (postures) that blend into one continuous movement from beginning to end.
This practice has been a part of my life for over 20 years and I feel I have barely scratched the surface.
