Cambalache Tango trio takes you back in time 100 years, to Argentina, celebrating the music of Carlos Gardel, in a beautiful private home. Cambalache Tango trio is Yumbel Marassi from Argentina on vocals, singing the music and telling the stories of Carlos Gardel. He is backed up by Alex Czerny on the piano and Joanie Collins on violin. This special Tango concert is being hosted in a beautiful private home in Hāwī, Hawai` i. It sits on the bluffs overlooking the ocean, with sweeping views and sunsets off the lanai, gorgeous hardwood floors and wide open space for dancing. Whether you dance Tango or not, we invite you to step into another world and experience the beauty, glamour, drama, and passion of the Tango as it came into being at the beginning of the 20th Century.Please bring your favorite beverage and pupus to share, and if you are planning to dance, that's great! but we ask you to please bring your dancing shoes, to minimize damage to the floors. There is a limited amount of tickets being sold, due to COVID restrictions, so get your tickets right away, as we do sell out every time!
