Join the family at Melanin In Motion , and our allies at the MN ornithologists Union, as we learn the basics of how to enjoy bird watching in the city. This is the second of 4 opportunities to explore our beautiful urban parks that are natural migration routes and provide amazing Bird Watching 5 to 30 minutes from Downtown. You will be hosted by Melanin in Motion and The Minnesota Ornithologists Union. We will guide our hike through a new park and we will walk through Birding for Beginners including the basics of Binoculars, The Field Guide, Bird Feeders, Spotting scope, cameras and other skills to make it fun and potentially a life long adventure . Binoculars will be available for use and you will receive a Field Guide to keep. The day will finish with refreshements and converation about Chris Cooper article from the Guardian
