Description

Seeking Ranch Hand to assist with care taking of horses/cattle and other ranch duties. If you enjoy the outdoors in all seasons and working with animals, this would be a good fit for you.Responsibilities include feeding, haying, watering, and other responsibilities depending upon the season. This is a labor intensive position, you must be able to lift bags of feed, hay bales. Use of tools and light equipment, chainsaws, weedeaters, mowers may be needed. Previous experience is beneficial. You may be required to work alone, or with limited help on many days. Self-motivation and self-management is important. No smoking is allowed on all ranch premises. We are looking for part-time help with someone able to work 10-20 hours, 3-4 days/week (may include weekends) Pay rate $150-$250 a week, depending on experience and hours. Work day length will vary depending upon the tasks needing completed. Requirements: Trustworthiness; willingness to learn our protocols; Reliable transportation; Ability to lift 50 lbs or more.
