Please read to the end: More surrenders due to pandemic restrictions lifting so I'm posting again... I have over 20 parakeets (and counting) that have been surrendered due to the pandemic. People either can't take care of them bc they have to move/lost their job, or they bought them during the pandemic as a distraction and now don't want to care for them anymore. I have all different colors and genders, some are more tame than others, all are completely cute and would love a forever home. Most can be worked with to come onto your finger, but all of them would love a home where they can just have their cage door open so they can fly out and mostly sit on top of their cage. They are used to being out of their cage and mostly sit on top of the cage. Please don't respond to this if you don't have time for them or they will be caged all day. Please don't buy from a breeder or a pet store and consider adopting some of these cuties. There is a small fee of $30 for two birds, a cage, toys, perches, and food. They are flock animals so I won't adopt out just one bird unless you have one already. They are so sweet and chatter all day and would be such a delight in a forever loving home.
