Press release from the Sonoma County Government:
July 2, 2021
For Immediate Release CA
The charges resulted from an investigation in 1992 that started in San Mateo County and led to arrests of two other involved adults, Kelly McLauhlin-Cross and Thomas Plimmer, in Humboldt County where video recordings of the sex acts were discovered and determined to have been committed at the inmate's residence in Guerneville on or about October 1, 1991.
When handing down the lengthy sentence, Sonoma County Superior Court Judge Lawrence G. Antolini stated, "I must be sure that you can never do this again to any child in our community."
District Attorney Jill Ravitch stated, "We are pleased that the commissioners denied parole for another five years. Our office will continue to appear at parole hearings and object to the release of this dangerous predator into the community."
The parole hearing was attended by Deputy District Attorney Jane Murray.
