Description

I love my snake. I wish I could keep him, but there is a conflict of interest because I own many cats. When he was smaller it wasn't an issue, but now I can't handle him as much as I want or as much as he needs. If you or someone you know is able, this well behaved beauty would love to be yours. About 6' long, not sure of weight. He's hungry and I can show feeding this weekend if you are interested. He usually eats XL rats or 1 lb rabbit. I'm asking a simple $100 rehousing fee which includes thermal pads, temp sync device, and his next meal. He has outgrown his current cage, so the new owner will need to provide a habitat. I don't want to include his current cage because I don't want him to be stuck in there anymore. This is a great opportunity to get a very well behaved snake at a mere fraction of the cost you would find at a pet store. Adopting person should have experience with reptiles and snake handling. They should know what size cage to get for 6ft boa. I adopted this snake from my sister about 5 years ago. She did not take care of him well. He was underfed, malnourished, way too small for his age. Since I took ownership, the snake has been regularly fed, has a decent maintained habitat, and has gotten big. I honestly want to keep him because I have developed a strong bond, but I have come to the conclusion that the best thing for him is to be in a home with a proper care taker. This snake deserves it. He has a great temperament. He will get a burst of energy when taken out of the cage because he is not taken out as much as he needs, but after that, he is very mellow and likes to hang out around my neck and shoulders. Length: approx 6 ft Weight: unknown Sex: was told Male, but not 100% Age: ~ 6 years old HEALTHY! Ready to eat! I don't know types of Red Tail Boas I'm sorry, I haven't researched that before.
