Press release from the Atlanta Police Department: 06/25/2021 Today, June 25, 2021 at around 4:00 p.m., multiple protestors were observed walking down the street, impeding the flow of traffic in the area of Peachtree St and Andrew Young International Blvd.  They made their way down to the Atlanta Police Foundation offices located at 191 Peachtree St where they began to damage the property by spraying graffiti on the exterior of the building and shattering glass windows.  Employees at the location were able to exit the building unharmed.  Upon officers arrival, the protestors quickly dispersed and fled the scene in multiple vehicles.  It is believed they were protesting the building of the new Public Safety Training Center.  At this time, no arrest have been made and the investigation continues.    Please keep in mind the above information is preliminary in nature and can change as the investigation progresses and new information comes to light.  This press release was produced by the Atlanta Police Department.
