Fires season has started! This is the last class for training to become a Wildland Firefighter and get out on crews.
The details are:
Where: The Dallas Event Center - 939 Main St., Dallas, Oregon 97338
When: July 15th, 16th, 17th (Friday-Sunday)
Why: Classes will certify you to become a fire fighter and go anywhere in the U.S.
Cost: Free, our company just asks you to work for us for the first year
Physical: On Sunday you will have to pass a pack test - walk 3miles in 45 minutes with a 45 pound pack on back. If you are in good physical shape you will pass.
Wages: Starting pay is $17.54 an hour, time and a half after 40 hours
