Bilingual summer outdoors together! Summer nature exploration! Children ages three to five and a half years old are invited to join us to explore, appreciate nature and the arts. Summer is our time to wind down, explore math around us and create art outdoors. We will work on collaborative projects with friends, hike local nature centers/trails, share our collection of books and enjoy outdoors. Each week we will participate in a nature study theme, outdoor play and document our learning through journaling, discussions, “slow looking sketching” and make a list of positive action ideas. Instructions are provided in Spanish and English. I am a bilingual early childhood educator who enjoys composting, cooking, singing and working with young children. I have experiences with children from ages 0 – 18, I have worked with Reggio Emilia inspired, outdoor classroom, play- based and project approach program.
