A KB player & also a Guitar player wanted for studio band

We are a studio band coming out of covid hiatus. Our focus is on making records. All of us have extensive experience and have been playing for many years. We already have several people that can play kg & guitar, but they are usually playing something else, so we would like to add two additional players to cover those instruments. Our mutual interests run towards the eclectic, so the stuff we are working on is all over the place. We currently have a dozen songs in various stages of completion that run the gamut. There is very little chance this project will generate any income. Fortunately, we don’t have to pay for the studio time. The studio where we work has a good selection of keyboards & amplifiers, so it is extremely unlikely that you will need to bring any equipment. Sessions are on Sunday afternoons near Ballard / Queen Anne. It would not be mandatory for you to make it to every session, but you should be willing & able to show up on a regular basis. Our line up consists of: Player 1: Woodwinds, flute, kb, male vocals Player 2: Electric violin, viola, guitar, banjo, kb, female vocals Player 3: Brass, kb, bass, drums Player 4: Acoustic and electronic drums & percussion Me: Bass, guitar, kb, & male backing vocals. I also have some ability to play alto sax, drums, & cello. I am a modular synthesist, and a highly experienced professional audio engineer. The right players would be multi-genre musical chameleons. A background in theory would be helpful, but creativity & imagination are the key attributes we are looking for. Bonus points if your skill set also extends to composition. Please be able to function well in a cooperative group setting, write & remember your parts, and be willing to take direction when the writer of the song has something specific in mind.  Older musicians are encouraged to apply. Vaccination required. Note: We are an easy going bunch, but we absolutely do not get on well with those that have extreme views or evangelical beliefs.
