Celebrate the founding of our great nation and the people then and now who fought for democracy, the rights of all people, freedom of religion, equal justice under the law, and opportunity for everyone. Nothing starts out perfect and there have been many changes and improvements over almost 250 years. Some fought in 1776 to end oppression of the British government and others are still fighting today to end the oppression of white supremacists. All are heroic. Let's agree that you can't love America and hate the fight for freedom and equality. Don't let those that hate the concepts America was founded on win.
