I have been looking for a job to support my family for over a year now. It’s always the same excuse, “we have selected a better qualified candidate.” I have tried almost everything. I get it, Texas doesn’t want to hire people from another state. Even if they are a combat veteran who served their country with honor. People say they support and care about veterans and their families, except, apparently when they are from another state. “Thanks for your service” Yeah right. I thought Texas was a state of second chances. I guess that’s another “Texas tall tail.” And another thing I’ve noticed, Texans think their state is somehow better than everywhere else. Hate to break it to you. It isn’t. It has just as much crime, drugs, and homeless like everywhere else. The highways and roads are littered with trash. Your cities are infested with violence. How do you stand out again? Oh wait, as soon as it gets cold the power goes out for a week and a bunch of people including children die. Great look, Texas. I thought people in the south had courtesy and manners. Wrong again, people are just as rude and trashy as everywhere else. Don’t bother responding. I’m not going to read it anyway.
