Huntington Beach based- company that manufactures products for the visually impaired wants YOU on their team! Schedule: 8am-5pm Pay rate $15-$17/hr, GREAT for entry-level technicians! The Repair Technician is responsible for troubleshooting, examination/evaluation, and repair of returned products and parts. Reporting to the Repair Supervisor the ideal candidate will have both technical and time management skills that will add to the repair team’s production and timely service to our end-users and customers. Good time management skills Strong critical thinking skills Excellent organization & planning abilities Responsibilities -Evaluates and examines products or parts returned by customers for credit or repair -Works closely with Technical Support Specialists and Quality Department as product issues are identified. -Reports problems, discrepancies, or rejections to management. -Processes Return Authorizations in the CRM system as quickly as possible to maintain customer satisfaction -Maintains a small inventory of parts needed to complete repairs -Completes periodic training and re-training on construction and function of all products, both new and existing -Has the ability to be cross-trained in backing up manufacturing department -Performs other related duties as assigned Ability to perform technical and mechanical skills Basic Qualifications High School Diploma or Equivalent 1-2 years of prior work-related experience required
