Description

I have 2 boy ferrets and 1 girl, they HAVE to go together. I have a cage similar to the one in the picture. An obscene amount of toys. About 2 bags worth of food in a plastic food container. We kept them on Wysong Epigen 90 Digestive Support Dry Ferret Food since we've had them. No health issues so far thank goodness! When looking for a vet, Portland Veterinary Wellness Center on 3345 NE 82nd Ave takes exotic pets-we've taken them there before and have had a good experience. These 3 are about 2.5 years old. I had them for about a year before Covid hit. The largest boy is a digger, so we have a ball pit and a rice container, and an extra water dish for him to dig around in. We have this DIY'd additional fenced-in piece for them as well, that's where we kept all the balls for the ball pit in too. That was especially handy for when deep cleaning the cage or those chaos days where they need time to play but you don't have time to keep an eye on them. Ferrets are social creatures and these 3 are bonded, so they cannot be split up. They are escape artists, especially the girl. If you've never had a ferret before, think of them like a small dog for the amount of attention you should give them. They are very intelligent and they need several hours of playtime outside the cage daily. They also poop about every 2 hours. These 3 poop in the litter boxes in their cages, we never got to get them potty trained outside of the cage. But it is possible to do so, our ferrets before them were. People say ferrets smell, it's a faint smell yes, but if you keep their cage and stuff very clean it's only faint. These guys are loving and curious creatures who give a lot of kisses. Due to personal health concerns, we're moving in with family and we won't have the space capacity, finances, or spoons to properly care for them anymore. I don't drive, and with the size of the cage, the toys, and everything else I cannot take them on public transit. So we'd have to meet at our place for this. Hopefully, you have access to a van or a truck. Both I and my partner are vaxxed, we hope that you are too, but either way, everyone should wear masks There is a rehoming fee.
