More accurately the Republican Party has sold its soul to Donald Trump. 6 years ago the Republican Party was comprised of conservatives. The GOP was the voice of reason. The republican party stood for tradition. Those days are gone. Even republicans do not currently respect their own party. The Republican Party is now run by extremists. Honesty and integrity are no longer relevant. When people think of the Republican Party they think of racism, anger, extremist, militia groups, the big lie… Personally, I could care less about any political party. I am an American. I do not feel the need to join political parties. I think both parties are right at times and each is wrong at times. I do not want to limit myself by joining one party. So maybe the GOP imploding will be a good thing for America. The GOP collapses, the country will be controlled by the left for some number of years and eventually we will emerge party free and somewhere in the middle. I do not see a single republican trying to save the party other than Mitt Romney and he has lost his power. I am not an anarchist but I do love the idea of political parties going away. We can thank Donald for destroying the Republican Party.
