Like (love?) wine but want to know a little bit more about the process before it arrives on our crush pad? Have we got the class for YOU!
Join winemakers Rob Griffin and Megan Hughes as they discuss all things VINE with Damon LaLonde - an actual superstar in Washington viticulture.
Damon has had his hand in some of the most prestigious plantings in Washington wine, and he will be here to talk all about getting the grapes ready for your glass. Viticulture is paramount to good wine, and Damon knows his stuff. Come with questions because... you will not be able to stump him. He's better than Google!
Through out the class we will sample some of the wines Damon grew (in particular from a little place called Red Mountain) - and perhaps a few others highlighting specific viticultural practices here and abroad.
Tickets include wine, bread and butter (palate cleansers of course) and lecture/discourse from legendary figures in Washington wine.
Tickets are $35 for Wine Club and $40 for non-Wine Club - if you're a member and wanting the Wine Club price please email [email protected] for your ticket!

Barnard Griffin began in 1983 with borrowed grapes and a rented cellar. It has since become one of Washington’s most enduring and award-winning wineries. At the helm then and now is one of the most experienced winemakers in Washington State, Rob Griffin. In addition to the winery production facility, the Richland campus is home to a tasting room, full service restaurant and fused glass art studio.
