Empower.ology hosts a yoga class led by Devon Schmidt, owner of Day Yoga Studio in the Dayton Arcade Rotunda! We are Peggy and Hannah and we're financial advisors here in Dayton, OH. We see so clearly in our careers that women are under represented in the world of finance. So we decided to create a platform that would allow us to connect with women in our community and make conversations about money approachable and manageable. We believe in a wholistic financial planning and our mission with Empower.ology is to inspire women to build community and prioritize health and happiness. Personally. Professionally. Financially. This event is focused on personal wellness and we hope you'll join us for a wonderful evening. Snacks and refreshments will be provided. We'll be sharing more details on our vendor partners as we get closer to the event. We are thrilled to be partnering with women owned businesses in the Dayton area starting with: Aviatra Accelerators - Dayton: *100% of all proceeds received from this event will go to their Women on the Rise fund. Aviatra Accelerators is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization founded in 2010. Celebrating ten-years of providing resources to women on the rise, Aviatra Accelerators sole purpose is to support female entrepreneurs with a meaningful combination of education, coaching, mentoring, networking and access to capital. Aviatra Accelerators officially opened their branch in Dayton at The Hub in June 2021. We can't wait to help support more women owned businesses in our community. *minus the service and processing fees required by Eventbrite Devon Schmidt, owner of Day Yoga Studio: In 2011 Devon opened Day Yoga Studio in Dayton, Ohio to provide yoga and wellness services to the community. Along with teaching open yoga classes, she also facilitates workshops, conducts private individual yoga sessions, directs the 200-hour and 500-hour RYS teacher training programs at Day Yoga, and offers Ayurvedic Massage and Reiki sessions. She is also the director of the Day Yoga Community Outreach program which brings yoga to those in need in and around the Dayton area including schools and women's shelters. All the while Devon still finds time for her most important job: being a mom to four kids.
