Rocktown School of the Arts will host a Pop-Up Summer Arts Camp in Downtown Harrisonburg from June 14 through August 6, 2021. Rocktown School of the Arts Presents a Pop-Up Summer Arts Camp in 2021 Harrisonburg, Virginia – Rocktown School of the Arts will host a Pop-Up Summer Arts Camp in Downtown Harrisonburg from June 14 through August 6, 2021, featuring local artists for kids and teens. Instruction is differentiated at beginner, intermediate, and advanced in all arts areas. Each week will focus on a different visual or performing arts discipline. Day camps run Monday - Friday, 9 am - Noon (Elementary) and 1 - 4 pm (Middle and High School). All supplies are included in the registration fee of $150 per weekly session. Following is the calendar: June 14 - June 18, 2021 - Collage Art June 21 - June 25, 2021 - Voice & Instrument Performance June 28 - July 2, 2021 - The Art of Glass July 5 - July 9, 2021 - Found Art July 12 - July 16, 2021 - Voice & Instrument Performance July 19 - July 23, 2021 - One Act Plays July 25 - July 29, 2021 - Musical Theatre August 2 - August 6, 2021 - Heritage Arts & Music “I am thrilled to be offering something in the area for visual and performing arts education in the Valley. Our community has so much to offer residents and visitors through the arts and I am looking forward to a summer of creativity unleashed, and in person,” says Jennifer A.
