Join CATHY PONTON KING with special guest, horn player CURTIS POPE (has played with Wilson Pickett, the Isley Brothers and many other R&B luminaries) as we celebrate LIBERTY AMENDMENTS MONTH and, specifically, the 19th Amendment to the Constitution. Cathy, her band and Mr. Pope perform legendary blues numbers interspersed with speaking of the importance of the suffragists, their sacrifices and their history. This promises to be not just a ROCKIN' good time, but a valuable history lesson as well.
