Paris-Bourbon County Farmers Market presents "Picnic on the Creek," an evening concert with Wolfpen Branch, featuring Arthur Hancock Enjoy spending a musical evening beside beautiful Stoner Creek with friends and family benefiting the Paris-Bourbon County Farmers Market. Come soak in the last days of summer with the Farmers Market “Picnic by the Creek.” Spend a midsummer evening creekside under the stars, listening to music from Wolfpen Branch, featuring Bourbon County’s own Arthur Hancock, purchase a table and compete in the table decorating contest where the winners get some awesome prizes. Similar to the popular “Picnic with the Pops,” this year’s annual fundraiser harnesses the picnic theme. There are multiple tables available for purchase, each coming with different options. When you and your friends purchase the table, you have a blank canvas ready to compete in the table decorating contest. Using the theme “Farm Fresh Bourbon County” get creative with your tablemates and decorate your table. Judges will select the best table and the winning tables receive incredible baskets curated from our Farmers Market. For the picnic theme, it’s a BYOP – Bring Your Own Picnic! Make/pack your own picnic food, or order take out picnic from any of our awesome local restaurants. Follow along on social media for participating restaurants that will pack your picnic for you. Want all the fun without the work – check out our VIP table! It includes everything you need (and could ever wish for) for the night. Curated table decor, gourmet picnic, warm chocolate chip cookies, wine, signature cocktails made table side and a ton more! All you have to do with the VIP table is show up and enjoy the VIP treatment for the night. *Due to ABC laws, no outside alcohol is permitted. However, there will be wine and beer for purchase on site. Timeline of Events: Gates open at 5:30 Table judging starts at 6:30 Concert by Wolfen Branch from 7 - 9:30 Intermission at 8 to announce table contest winners and a LIVE auction benefiting the Farmers Market.
