Description

WNY VegFest is back and better than ever for our seventh annual festival! This event is the only one of its kind in the Western New York! WNY VegFest features live music, vendors, delicious food, kids activities, beer, animals for adoption, and much more! The festival will be held under the arena at Buffalo Riverworks on Sunday September 26th from 11-6pm. The 2019 event attracted a record breaking crowd size of over 9,000 attendees. Buffalo and Western New York have seen an explosion of interest in health, compassion, and plant-based eating over the last few years. After much time, effort, and deliberation, we've decided our best course of action for this year's event would be to charge $5 entry for guests 10 and older. All proceeds from this year's event will be donated directly to Penelope's Place the Sanctuary. Penelope's Place is a local nonprofit sanctuary specializing in chicken rehabilitation and rescue. Please come and be a part of this exciting showcase of compassion, health, and progressive culture in our community! About WNY Vegfest WNY Vegfest features world renowned speakers, exhibitors, vendors, live music, delicious and healthy food, children’s activities, entertaining performances, and so much more! Our work is dedicated to educating, inspiring, and encouraging a vegan diet for improving health, expanding compassion and taking greater care of our environment. WNY VegFest is growing rapidly each year and becoming the largest healthy lifestyle festival throughout the entire region. The community has enthusiastically come out to support our event every year, enjoying all the varied plant powered fun! Buffalo and Western New York have seen an explosion of interest in health, compassion and plant-based eating over the last few years, and together with the help of local veg advocacy groups and sanctuaries the WNY VegFest is helping to spread the life affirming message of a plant based diet.
