Starting with classical and transitioning with blues, Leilani has studied under accomplished and skilled musicians that have helped her achieve multi-genre experience as a guitarist, including John Mayer's Berklee professor, Tojo Fujita. Her fascination with the blues began at the age of 16, when she met and jammed with local blues musicians who educated and encouraged her. Now a regular performer, Leilani Kilgore continues to make a name for herself in the blues genre by accomplishing feats such as playing consistently with blues legend Buddy Guy and supporting headlining acts at renowned festivals.
