Hiring gardening helper with vehicle

I run a small, all electric garden maintenance business and take care of yards and gardens in the JP, Roslindale, Dorchester, West Roxbury and Brookline areas. Looking for helper that has a minivan, truck or SUV. Experience is not required but recommended. Must be willing to learn the ins and out of each job. Travel between all jobs is 5 to 15 miles a day. You would work with me and learn or improve intermediate gardening and landscaping skills. It isn't full-time but it can be a full week of work during the heavy growing seasons if you're interested. Right now we're doing maintenance and weeding. We switch off doing some small weed-whacking, hedge trimming and hand-edging gardens. There's occasionally some mulching, branch lopping, flower trimming and the rest of the work is leaf-blowing, hand weeding and bagging debris. Nothing with ladders or pesticides. We don't work in harsh weather and they are chill, fun and satisfying jobs I've been doing for years. We start at 8 or 9am and usually do 1 to 4 residential jobs until 2-4pm. I love what I do and I don't make it stressful. I'd like to find someone who is kind, fun-loving and wants to work as a team! This position absolutely has potential for moving up to crew supervisor when I have enough jobs for expansion and you know the work well enough. On the job work is 15-20+ hrs a week. Pay is $25 /hr to start minus breaks and depending on your experience and vehicle capability. $20 extra a day for gas, all cash. Must live in or around the JP area. If you have another part-time job this could work out. Regular schedule is Monday through Thursday & sometimes Friday depending on rain and holidays etc. Please email through CL and we can set up a short call interview.
