2021 Lone Star Flight Museum STEM Event 2021 GATHERING OF EAGLES STEM FESTIVAL CALLING ALL STUDENTS Come join us for a day of STEM activities and a tour of the Lone Star Flight Museum! 9 am - 1pm, Saturday, October 2nd!! Space is limited, please register today! Hosted by Gathering of Eagles, Rice Space Institute and West Point Foundation of Greater Houston: This event is especially for middle to high school students to give them a taste of STEM careers. Each teacher can register up to 25 students. Lunch and/or breakfast will be provided. Any student needing sponsorship to this event please contact: [email protected] Gathering of Eagles are American Veterans of all wars as WWW II, KOREAN WAR, VIETNAM, IRAQ, AFGHANISTAN AND WARS BETWEEN. The Rice Space Institute (RSI) was formed in 2000 as part of the merger between the former Physics and Space Physics and Astronomy departments under the leadership of Prof. Patricia Reiff, a noted space physicist. During Prof. Reiff’s directorship, RSI earned an international reputation for the quality of its public outreach programs and educational partnerships. The West Point Foundation of Greater Houston Supports and Enhances Community-based Youth STEM Educational Participation and Veterans in transition. For more information go to www.wpfgh.org.
