This event will be hosted with Houston’s Karbach Brewery and will feature a food & beer pairing with live music, views, and drink specials. Whether you’re a casual (but enthusiastic!) beer-drinker or a home-brewing, bottle-cellaring connoisseur, beer tastings are among the happiest, hoppiest ways to spend a long summer afternoon. There’s something special brewing at Hillside Texas Bistro… join us as we sample a selection of beers and food from Houston’s very own Karbach Brewery. This event feature a pairing of four beers with four gourmet food bites. Enjoy great company and food as the sun sets with live music performed by the Solis Brothers. This event will be hosted outside on the arbor and terrace overlooking the rolling hills of the Medina River Valley. Keep the party going after the tasting with our cash bar and live music. Come early and enjoy drinks and appetizers at the Hillside Texas Bistro. VIP Package Raise a glass to big savings and fun with our VIP ticket. Enjoy the ease of paying one flat price for unlimited Karbach beers. VIP’s can skip the long line and check-in at the VIP all access line. VIP’s will also receive a complimentary Karbach beer upon check-in and a keep-sake lanyard. Each VIP guest will receive a swag bag. Now, that’s something to cheers about. Event Schedule 7:00 PM Seating Area Opens 7:30 PM - 8:30 PM Food and Beer Pairing 8:30 PM - 10:00 PM Cash Bar and Live Music IMPORTANT EVENT INFORMATION Cancellation Policy: Reservations must be canceled by Wednesday, July 21, at 5 PM without penalty to receive a full refund. If guests cancel after this date there will be NO refund. If a guest does not show up they do not receive a refund. SEATING This is a communal seating event, meaning multiple parties will be seated at the same table unless a group buys out a table. There is only one seating time. To ensure a group sits together tickets must be purchased together or guests must choose the same table during ticket purchase. Hillside can not guarantee a group sits together if they purchase their ticket separately. VIP TICKETS VIP Tickets are an add-on feature and are optional. VIP tickets are $75.00 each. Guests will receive lanyards when they check in at the event. Lanyards will be for sale the day of the event for $50.00. The lanyard is valid for one person only. Beers ordered through the lanyard can not be shared. Does not include gratuity What does the lanyard include? Lanyards includes unlimited responsible drinking from 8:30 PM to 10 PM (after the tasting) and a ticket to the event. All drinks ordered before the tasting will have to be paid for. The lanyard does not include any food or beverage ordered before 7:30 PM. Faster check in. There will be a separate line for VIPS. A complimentary canned karbach beer at check in and swag bag. What if a guest has a lanyard and wants to eat inside? The wristband still works if a guest wants to order dinner and eat inside. What drinks are included in the lanyard? The lanyard is only good for karbach beer on tap that is served during the beer tasting. The lanyard can not be used for any other beer, liquor, or beverage to include soda and tea. Can we eat before or after the event? Food will not be available to order on the arbor and terrace - this includes before the event, during, or after. If a guest wants to order food from the Bistro they must order and eat it inside. What if I have a food allergy? Due to the size of the events and the number of people being served, our chefs cannot make accommodations for food allergies. Outside Bar Area: There will be an outside bar on the arbor and terrace. This bar will only serve karbach beer on tap and house wine. This bar is cash only. All beer outside will be $7.00 each. Beer can not be ordered during the beer tasting so we do not disrupt the tasting. Beverages can only be ordered before or after the tasting. Entertainment: Live music will be performed. Local musicians, the Solis Brothers, will be performing. WEATHER: This event will be hosted outside on the arbor and terrace. If the weather during an event would be dangerous, the event would be cancelled. If a little rain joins us for an event, we will still be there and the food and drinks will taste just as good. In the event of inclement weather the event will be moved inside to our Ballroom. Please dress accordingly.
