Description
Tino is a flame or red point rag doll cat. He is about five, super affectionate, had all his shots, is neutered, flops when you pet him (so don’t freak out), a little bit of a fraidy cat, good with our dachshund, purrs when he licks his feet, likes to play catch with light objects, brings his mousy to bed, etc.
So why are we getting rid of him? He has been peeing on the chairs that our dog Violet sits on. If the dog changes chairs, so does he. He thinks of Violet as his big sister, but there’s a jealousy thing going on—I think. I can’t really get into his head. I love him, but we’re running out of furniture.
He likes being brushed—I’ll give you the metal comb, dematting comb, and his chew worm. The worm gives him something to chew on when you hook a mat. He has certain places in the house he likes to be pet and will lead you to them. I think he knows flopping just anywhere could be dangerous. We have another cat, and they get along quite well. There is no yowling in our house.
He hates getting into the cage, and I haven’t been able to take him to the vet for three years, which is why I said he has “had” his shots. He’s been an indoor cat, although we found him in a bush in the bluffs along the Eaton trail. I think I could roll him in a blanket and get him in a cage. I haven’t tried that yet. He is not a picky eater.
I am asking for a fifty dollar rehoming fee, which I will donate to the Cat House on the Kings. This is to prevent Tino from ending up being resold to a pharmaceutical company. Phone calls are fine--but this is a landline so no texts.
