Carson Sheriff's Station and the City of Carson will host a Catalytic Converter Theft Prevention Event on Saturday, July 17, 2021.
Carson Sheriff's Station and the City of Carson invite residents to attend a Catalytic Converter Theft Prevention Event. This event is a part of a multifaceted strategy that Carson Sheriff's Station has implemented to address the uptick in catalytic converter thefts occurring across Los Angeles County.
Carson Sheriff's Station has partnered with the City of Carson and local stakeholders to host this event. All participants will have their catalytic converters etched with a unique identifying number. This etching will act as a theft deterrent and will also provide law enforcement with valuable information should it be stolen and later located by law enforcement personnel during subsequent investigations.
This event is being provided at no cost to all participants. Registration is strongly encouraged. Please sign up as soon as possible, as appointments are limited.
After you register to attend you will receive a confirmation email with detailed instructions. The day of the event, please bring your vehicle, your driver's license, and your vehicle's registration. If you have any questions please contact Carson Sheriff’s Station Community Relations Office at (310) 847-8386 or email Jennifer Atenza at [email protected].
