San Diego Ladies Bible Study Potlucks! Come as you are, ready to chat and snack. - Host Madeline Shaw LOCATION: Hello Lady's, We will be hosted by Katie on her patio. Her home address is 3240 Nimitz Blvd. However, there is no parting if you navigate to that address. I suggest navigating to 3249 Macaulay St. and finding parking in the neighborhood. I have added an image of where this address will take you and walking directions to Katie's home. Feel free to call or text me at 303-419-1982 if you have any concerns. Hello Ladies! I'm so excited to meet you all and have the opportunity to spend time together over the summer. These three summer events are an open invitation to any San Diego ladies. My hope is to have a diverse group of women, some that are patrons of the faith and can offer wisdom and biblical insight and other that might not have never opened the bible on our own before. No biblical knowledge is required to attend the event. Reading the passages before hand will help familiarize you with the topic being discussed but I will provide a structured dialogue. My hope is create space for those who are passionate and comfortable sharing their insights and questions as well as a safe space for those only wanting to watch and listen. Please feel free to invite friends and RSVP 10 days prior to the event. The number of attendees will determine the meeting place. I will send out an email reminder 7 days before the event confirming the meeting place address and parking instructions. These events will always take place outside with the opportunity to socially distance. Masking will not be enforced as all attendees are invited to bring snacks and beverages to share potluck style. The first event will be held on Tuesday, July 6th from 6:00pm-9:00pm. Please read the book of Ruth prior to attending the event as I will be leading an open discussion about each of our personal impressions of this powerful story. The second event will be on Tuesday, July 27th from 6:00pm-9:00pm. Please come prepared to discuss the book of Esther. The last event will be on Tuesday, August 24th from 6:00pm-9:00pm. I'm still considering the reading to be discusses at this event. I will update the event with either a suggested reading for a study on Deborah from the book of Kings or a study on Miriam from the book of Exodus.
