Kalm with Kava is the premier vendor of kava supplements in the United States. We offer a wide range of products that help our customers manage their stress levels. Our goal is to improve the health of our customers, increase their ability to handle difficult situations, and help them enjoy life. Our company is currently transitioning from Billings, Montana to Phoenix, Arizona. We’re looking to fill a position in our Phoenix facility as the Warehouse Manager. This position will start in Montana until the Phoenix facility is ready for production. Expenses for living and working in Montana will be paid for by the company. We expect our Phoenix facility to be ready in early August. Key Skills: -Excellent leadership skills, including the abilities to set goals, motivate and manage conflict -Effective communication skills, including writing, speaking and active listening -Good project management skills, including strong decision-making, problem-solving and strategic planning abilities -Exceptional time management and organization skills -Familiarity with inventory control practices and logistics -Comfortable using inventory management software and other computer applications -Physical strength, stamina and the ability to walk or stand for long periods of time Key Responsibilities: -Planning for warehouse production schedules -Scheduling incoming shipments out of country and domestically -Satisfying all FDA and local health regulations within the warehouse for storage, production, and fulfillment of orders -Quality control of products throughout the production life cycle -Managing employee schedules, time, training, and expectations -Organizing and tracking products, including lifting heavy items -Creating and improving production processes -Fulfilling wholesale orders from business customers -Handling some customer service issues -Responsible for planning and executing the warehouse move from Billings, Montana to Phoenix, Arizona Nice to Haves: -Existing knowledge of FDA or County Health requirements for process and hygiene -Warehousing experience -Food production experience -Knowledge of Kava and the Kava Industry
