We'll have different sessions to meet employers and mentors for resume reviews, job search tips or advice on how to get hired in specific job types or industries. Our agenda includes:
9am - Employer representatives arrive for Session #1: "Best Practices for Recruiting & Hiring Veterans and Military Spouses"10:00am - Veterans & Milspouses arrive for Session #2: "Ask Me Anything” panel discussion with Employers answering questions from the audience11:00am - Session #3: One-on-one Resume Reviews w/Employers & Mentors. We will match Employers and Mentors to candidates for individual discussions on resume strength, job search advice, networking, how to negotiate salary, etc.This first-of-its-kind event is FREE for everyone, thanks to the generosity of our hosts. The goal is to provide an opportunity for Employers and Candidates with military backgrounds to debunk hiring myths, ask questions and get feedback in real time.
