Volleyball training for girls and boys
The camp is available for girls and boys grades 4-12 in all skill levels from beginner through advanced.
Dates: July 12 and 14 (Mon and Wed) from 6:30PM to 8:30 PM and July 17 (Sat) from 8:00AM to 12:00PM
Players will be divided up into skill to work with coaches on technical skill and game play.
Beginners get introduced to the game with an opportunity to then join a fall team to continue play.
Intermediate players grades 5-8 get to work on skill development and game play to prepare for the fall season.
Advanced players will review basic skills and learn higher level plays while incorporating mental development through drills and game play. Good opportunity to get prepared for high school tryouts.
Campers should wear t-shirt, shorts and sneakers and should bring a water bottle. Knee pads are optional for beginners.
-Summit VBC is a non-profit youth volleyball club that provides the club setting for all ages to learn and develop in the sport of volleyball. Our mission is to provide this high level without the high cost of other clubs. We also strive to -develop the overall player as a person while we develop athletic skills.
Director Mary Beiler has loved volleyball since the age of 12. She played through high school and college and has been coaching in east county since 2005. She is currenty the varsity coach at Maranatha Christian in San Diego. Her 2017 team won the CA state title, and she was named small school coach of the year. The team has also won 3 consecutive CIF championships. Her passion for the game extends into her love of how a team experience can devleop important life skills.
