North Carolina Concealed Course This course is a requirement for a North Carolina concealed carry permit and will be taught by an instructor certified by the (NC DoJ) North Carolina Department of Justice. The course has a duration of at least 10 hours including time to the range and transportation to it. To receive certification at the end of the course under state regulations it is required that you pass a written exam and qualification at the range. You DO NOT NEED to have a firearm to take this course. Firearms and Ammunition available for use during the class at an additional cost (according to the current market). * This course is not designed for those who have never used a firearm. We offer an introductory course on firearms. ** Participation in this course does not guarantee the issuance of a certificate and / or the issuance of a permit by your county sheriff's office. *** The cost of the course is $ 85 does not include rental equipment or ammunition. The rental fees and ammunition will be charged on the day of the course. **** This course reservation is non-refundable.
