(You Must Pre-Register for Orientation) PLEASE NOTE - # of Attendees is 10 People Total - (Smaller Sizes Available) (You Must Pre-Register for Orientation) IMPORTANT - READ If you sign up for this orientation - please be aware that there could be up to 10 other people attending it with you. This means you will be in closer proximity to others. We still do require you to wear a mask, and we'll try our best to social distance - but at all points during the orientation this might not be possible. The OTHER TIME SLOTS are set up to be only 5 people Max during the Orientation - during the OTHER TIME SLOTs for orientation you will be able to maintain the 6 ft distance from others. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This Wood Shop Orientation is geared towards new members, and members that have been away from the origanization for some time. During the orientation, You Will: Receive the mandatory safety "check out" on the planer & Sawstop Table saw, Get you up to speed where everything is in the shop Go Over some of those unwritten guidelines that make our space work so well. I look forward to seeing you there! ~Jon Jon Alt is a self-taught wood worker who enjoys making craftsman and mid-century modern furniture as well as smaller items such as clocks and keep sake boxes of various styles. Jon currently is the volunteer manager of the Twin Cities Maker Wood Shop.  This non-pofit, all volunteer run maker space is located in the seward neighborhood of Minneapolis, MN.
